Punchy dice

Game description:

Punch is a fun and engaging social word game for the whole family, with no limit on the number of participants. The game offers several versions depending on the number and age of the players. It can be played competitively with 2 or more players, including larger groups, or cooperatively, with everyone working together toward a common goal without competition.

The game is suitable for older players who can use writing, while younger children ages 5–7 can also play without writing.

Punch can be played at home or even while traveling (without writing). Play verbally to challenge and improve your memory, or play by writing down the sentences you create.

Objective of the Game:

Create the longest possible sentences and score points. The player who scores the most points wins the game.

How to Play

On their turn, each player takes all 8 dice and rolls them in the center of the table.

Turn over the sand timer.

All players now play simultaneously, trying to write the longest possible sentence, up to a maximum of 8 words, that makes sense. Each word in the sentence must begin with one of the letters shown on the dice. The order of the letters does not matter.

When the sand timer runs out, each player reads their sentence aloud. The player scores 5 points for each word in a sentence containing 1–6 words, 10 points for the seventh word, and 20 points for the eighth word.
